BrainPop offers educational and interactive online activities that span six main subjects including science, math, language arts, social studies, health and technology. BrainPOP requires a username and password, which you can get from your library information teacher or from the Home Access Passwords page. Content which requires a subscription is available only during school hours, but there are many activities that are free.
Britannica Image Quest provides safe and fast access to two million rights-cleared images from over 50 of the best collections in the world. Search for high quality images on all topics for all ages. Images can be saved in the lightbox, then printed, emailed, or downloaded.
CultureGrams contains concise cultural and statistical snapshots of every country recognized by the United Nations. Local experts document the unique details of each country's customs, traditions and daily life. CultureGrams details 25 different aspects of the country and its culture including the flag and national anthem.
Discovery Education includes 5,000 full-length videos segmented into 41,000 content-specific clips tied directly state and national standards. Includes images.

Updated annually, Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia's database indexes over 25,000 records, covering an array of topics. Full text for each record may be easily accessed by double clicking on the topic from the display. The database contains images, offers brief biographies as well as information in a variety of subject areas.
