BrainPOP                  BrainPOP jr                     BrainPOP ESL       

BrainPop offers educational and interactive online activities that span six main subjects including science, math, language arts, social studies, health and technology.  BrainPOP requires a username and password, which you can get from your library information teacher or from the Home Access Passwords page.  Content which requires a subscription is available only during school hours, but there are many activities that are free.


Britannica Image Quest

Britannica Image Quest provides safe and fast access to two million rights-cleared images from over 50 of the best collections in the world.  Search for high quality images on all topics for all ages.  Images can be saved in the lightbox, then printed, emailed, or downloaded.



CultureGrams contains concise cultural and statistical snapshots of every country recognized by the United Nations. Local experts document the unique details of each country's customs, traditions and daily life. CultureGrams details 25 different aspects of the country and its culture including the flag and national anthem.


Discovery Education

Discovery Education includes 5,000 full-length videos segmented into 41,000 content-specific clips tied directly state and national standards.  Includes images.



Featuring dynamic e-books of the Children's Press best-selling Cornerstones of Freedom series that include embedded popup features such as maps, timelines, virtual tour clips, primary source videos and audio clips history comes to life with FreedomFlix!


Funk and Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia

Updated annually, Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia's database indexes over 25,000 records, covering an array of topics. Full text for each record may be easily accessed by double clicking on the topic from the display. The database contains images, offers brief biographies as well as information in a variety of subject areas.



NoodleTools provides innovative software that teaches students and supports teachers and librarians throughout the entire research process – from note taking to bibliographies.


NoveList K-8 Plus

NoveList K-8 Plus is a great online resource for helping teachers, school media specialists and kids find that next great book to read. Created especially for kids (and the adults who work with them), it has a colorful, graphic-rich homepage and is very easy to use.


PBS LearningMedia

Use the help page to create a FREE account with access to PBS's digital library of videos, interactives, audio, games, images, print and productivity tools.

Soundzabound is a fantastic royalty-free music library of downloadable MP3 files. Perfect for podcasts, PowerPoint, videos, news shows, video yearbooks, digital storytelling, presentations, TV broadcasts, web design and more.


TeachingBooks is an easy-to-use website that adds a multimedia dimension to the reading experiences of children's and young adult books. This online database is developed and maintained to include thousands of resources about fiction and nonfiction books, with every resource selected to encourage the integration of multimedia author and book materials into reading and library activities.


TrueFlix OR TrueFlix Home Access

TrueFlix brings True Books to life and includes videos, audio, images, text and so much more!  Topics include People, Places & History (American Indians, Ancient Civilizations, Continents, U.S. Government, Westward Expansion) and Science & Nature (Disasters, Ecosystems, Extreme Nature, Human Body, Space).


TumbleBooks              Biblioteca TumbleBook

A digital library of e-books for kids, TumbleBooks is an online collection of animated, talking picture books which teach young children the joys of reading in a format they'll love.


TumbleBook Cloud Junior

Designed specifically for kids in grades 3-8, TumbleBook Cloud Junior is a great option for adventurous young readers who wish to read beyond the picture book collection in the TumbleBook Library.  TBCJ is an online collection of ebooks and read-along chapter books, non-fiction books, graphic novels, educational videos, and audio books. All books are available with unlimited access, all the time, from any device with an internet connection.


Britannica Online        Britannica Escolar  

Britannica Encyclopedia Online offers thousands of up-to-date, curated, and curriculum-relevant articles, images, videos, audio clips, primary sources, maps, research tools, recommended websites, and articles at three unique levels. Encyclopedia Britannica Escolar is an online Spanish encyclopedia with articles, images, videos, workspace, an atlas and learning materials specifically designed for language learners.
